Well the last couple of days have been pretty interesting…
To start things off I was really sick and had to miss three days of work…
Then on Wednesday I got a phone call from my mom that my Uncle was found dead in his apartment…
He was found on his bathroom floor and his body was so decomposed that they are going to have to officially identify his body by his dental records…
My mom said they are saying he was there for at least five days…
I just can’t imagine a sadder way to die…all alone like that…
He was a loner…
He lived in an apartment by himself and really didn’t have any longtime friends…never married…
He lived like he was on the tv show Cheers…
A big time social drinker and the bar was his life…
I’m pretty sure he either had a heart attack or his liver gave out…
I just feel bad for my mom because her sister just died right at a year ago and now her brother died…
She only has one more sibling living and she is only in her late forties…
My grandmother is taking it pretty tough too because she has memory problems…
So they have to keep reminding her and she has to relive the newness of finding out over and over again…
It’s just sad…
And then here is the Whammy…
David’s grandma passed on Thursday…
As I am writing this we are here in VA…
The funeral is tomorrow…
She died of lung cancer…
Personally I’m just thankful that she isn’t in so much pain anymore…
So…
This month so far has been a month of loss…
